Excited.  I just checked the package shipping and it looks like I'll have my pedals, seat post, and saddle waiting at my house when I go home for lunch.  I may get to ride this thing tonight!  Think I'll get a swim in after work, too.  Just for you

Howdy Nibbs!  Teaching went well this morning.  Unlike yesterday, they were actually awake for the presentation and asked questions.

I also found out my husband gets to be in a video game competition at a convention we're going to over Labor Day.  Should be exciting.  I get to be his sherpa for a change.   

Read an article this morning in Outside about the GDR... one guy did it on a single speed... I got mixed up on who was riding what however, and can't remember, but I think he ended up at a hospital....  though he did come 125 from the end...

Is it expected to snow in Iowa anytime soon????

Who REALLY needs a seat??? and pedals???  If you just constantly go down hill, you don't need them either   Just balance all your wieght on the handle bars (you have them right)  now you have a wonderfully odd looking trick/circus bike   Now get out there and ride!!!

Hi Nibbs!

We just got to my brother's house.  Spent last night at a hotel near Philadelphia.  (Beth, I kept thinking of you....)Glad to be out of the car.  Got a run in this morning at the hotel fitness center and I'm going to ride the bike up to my mother's house.  I'm really itching for a swim though

glad you got there safe and sound!  which end of Philly were you near?  I'm Northeast on 95 from the airport 

Well, I decided to go with the saddle anways  The pedals aren't in yet, though  Tracking says they are at the Brandon, MS post office, so maybe the mail hasn't gone out yet.  Yes, I was checking the flags on the mailboxes in my neighborhood, and a lot of them were up.  Surely that many people haven't already stuck mail in them for tomorrow.  Crossing my fingers that the pedals are there when I get home.

No name yet, and I decided not to know the gender of the baby until it's born  Hard to name a bike until you've ridden it and figured out it's personality.

Glad you made it.  You know if you ride your bike, you're going to be the crazy one, right?
