Yeah I know I need to keep the shirt and jacket and tie here. But I hate leaving clothes anywhere. I'll find an old crappy shirt and jacket that look good on TV and bring them in tomorrow.

In the last hit I did, that some from here saw, the jacket I wore went down to my knees. I sat on the back of it and pulled down the sleeves and held them so it looked like it fit on camera.

Daaaaang. No Oktoberfest here, mein freunden.

Oh and Kiley -- they do Oktoberfest in September at Gerdas on 50th and Leavenworth. Good times for sho. You should check it out with Locust, or Lobo, or Logjam. Or whatever his name is.

BEER AND BRATS!!!

I should say brats then beer since the brats are for lunch and beer is after work.

K...wait.  They do Oktoberfest in September?  I know I'm not very sharp but...why?

It starts in September and goes into October

Yes, I have one.  I am currently not using a decent portion of the functionality, though, but I plan on it.  Mostly, I'm just going out and running, but knowing how far I've gone is REALLY helpful to me in races.

i've been thinking about getting one for a while now.

Me too, I think I'll wait til I actually train for awhile though.

They look sweet though.

The only thing I don't like is that I have skinny wrists so the thing looks huge on my arm.  But now that I am getting into some distance on my training runs I am getting tired of mapping them out first and guesstimating my pace.

Should come with everything you need.  The additional stuff would be  cadence sensor, and they have a footpod for doing indoor work.  But those aren't necessary.

Nice, that's a better price than eBay. Did you use pricegrabber?

You will love the garmin.  I know I don't use half the functions but I don't run without it anymore.

You think YOU have skinny wrists? We leprechauns are about to sue those f'ers at Garmin for not making a watch in OUR size... its discrimination, I tell you!

BTW... just finished 9.6 miles, 1:32:03, 9:35 Pace. Felt decent. Odd, same pace as Monday's 'recovery run'. Didn't feel like I was pushing and it was faster than Tuesday's 9 miler.

Oh, good morning everyone. LOL

Ahem. No "LOL" in TAN!!

Should come with everything you need.  The additional stuff would be  cadence sensor, and they have a footpod for doing indoor work.  But those aren't necessary.

The cadence thing is nice if you ride a bike. {Scout wouldn't know about such things}
I just ordered the "quick release" handle bar mount thingy.
It wasn't required for bike use but I thought I would give it a try.

I also ordered an extra [replacement] charging cradle thingy because
I am experimenting with a battery powered USB charger that should
extend my usage time for long a$$ bike rides.
