wurkit_gurl - 2008-02-08 3:24 PM Ick, I'm not swimming in the bay will jellyfish and other scary things...y'all have fun with that.

Stop being a p*ssy and get in the bay.

Cold is one thing. Things that sting me are another. I had a run-in with either a very large, or very many jellyfish in the Mediterranean when I was 12. I'd prefer not to relive that.

There is no risk of jellyfish before about july 1st.  Then you're in for a world of hurt.  Other things in the bay pose no risk.  In the summer there are a lot of rays around, but they coincide with the jellies.

Well, that's good to know. Because getting stung SUCKED.

dck4shrt - 2008-02-08 2:55 PM Just so you know, OWS'ing in April in the Bay is pretty hardcore...I'll have to check temps to see if it's even feasible. Of course, a few mai-tais might make swimming more reasonable.

how many people does your apt sleep?

in my bed? on the floor? in my bed? couches? in my bed? what's your tolerance for sleeping spaces....

It probably all depends with whom we are in close proximity.

yeah, probably have to model this one with a logistic regression.

Not yet. Called and left a message over lunch; he doesn't answer his phone during the day. I expect I won't hear from him until after my brief run tonight; he's been getting out of work late recently, he said.

Hadn't suggested that specifically. If he calls back, I will see what he's up for. He looked pretty beat on Wednesday, so he might not be up for going out to Sterling.

Believe me, he's not doing any chicks, me or otherwise. He actually WAS beat from training; he's been working 12-hour days and trying to train for the Kinetic Half. And tri-bike shopping - making a decision and buying one tomorrow.

Deciding between the Kuota K-Factor, the QR Caliente and the Cervelo P2C. I don't know how tricked out he's going components-wise though.

Yes, he's going to Bonzai. I don't think he quite has the time to go trekking to Philly, etc. And there aren't really any other places close by that sell tri-bikes.

maybe you've got a busted hose, or some buildup that needs to be cleaned/taken care of or maybe a little pressure release is in order.
