Did the NYC Marathon Tune Up race this morning so 18 more miles in and I'm at 97% of my running goal with 116.37 miles! I have 4-5 scheduled for Tuesday so it looks like I'll make it.

I have core/strength today and tomorrow and a swim tomorrow that will finish off both of those. The bike is still up in the air. If my ITB isn't totally inflamed, I will do a trainer ride tomorrow and try to get as close to 100% as possible. 3 out of 4 isn't terrible I guess

Of course I'm still short on bike and swim.  I'll try to get some swim today.  and bike the next couple but I doublt I'll make 100%    we'll see how the next couple go.

September Four-Is-More Challenge Team Standings - Week #4

September is now 93% completed. Are you on target to meet your goals?

Here are the current team standings - and it's a CLOSE ONE!

FIRST PLACE - By 0.1% - Whips, Cattle Prods and Tiaras (WCPT) - 81.4%
SECOND PLACE - Team Post Padding - 81.3%
THIRD PLACE - Team Horny Melons - 72.2%


Congratulations to our leader, WHIPS, CATTLE PRODS and TIARAS (WCPTs)!

BUT with only 0.1% difference between first and second places --- the Challenge isn't over yet!

We still have TWO MORE DAYS to go! So remember - if you don't MOVE IT this month, your team is likely to LOSE IT!


Need a reminder of what happens at the end of the month?

The winning team(s) will display a signature line: "My team won the September Four-Is-More Challenge!"

All other (losing) teams will display an avatar of something that SHOULD have made them move more! This could be your shoes (ie: you should have run more), or your bike (ie: you should have biked more), or your bathing suit (ie: you should have swam more), or.... etc.

Avatars and signature lines will be displayed for the month of October. After that, it's your choice whether to leave it, or remove it.

What can I say - what a day. Today has been the day of everything goes wrong. But...

Hubby left for a while (Military) and won't be back until right before christmas (hoping for a short visit over thanksgiving but not for sure yet)

and the BIGGEST news for you guys - I am 100% on the bike and 3 miles run and 30 min strength from 100% across the board. I will finish that up tomorrow.
