PennState - 2010-04-03 7:08 AM OK, there have to be some people who are doing nice long rides in the beautiful weather today. Anyone? Anyone?

Bueller?

Bueller?

Actually NO.

I worked until 10pm last night and got 6 hr of sleep.  I was planning on a group ride so that would have been real easy.

Now since I have had 3 day in row of good riding and Sunday is gong to be nice, I am just going to run this am.  I work a 12:30-6:30pm so after a swim.

Sunday will be most likely be a early am ride.

I see DC is really hitting the riding hard, now that the weather is good!

Well Fred I would have expected at least 90 miles for a epic ride.

Thanks for the love everyone!  I'm pleased to see how many of you speedsters have been through this same journey to get where you are now... keeps me hoping.

And yes to free speed - amazing difference... especially on the bike/hills and running in general.  I'm even faster in the water by about 20sec/100yards despite barely any swimming, I think because my torso isn't so disproportionately buoyant compared to my legs... which used to mess by balance up big time and cause my legs to fall.

I can't claim to be a fastie, but I can claim to be part of the once 200 now 160lb club. That's on a 5'6" frame so 200 looked like 220. Lost it 9 years ago and never put it back. Keep it up man!

Hey, why do I get Red Sarcastic font?

I gotta say, I am LOVING my Jet C2 60's.  The tire looks almost double the width of a regular tire, it absorbs bumps and rough roads so nicely, cornering is better ... God Willing, I'm shooting for 600 miles on the bike this month!

DC needs to swim more in my worthless opinion

I'll be hitting the pool three times a week from now till the end of May.  Three times a week is as good as it's gonna get from me!!  I know right now I've only been averaging twice per week, and that's not gonna get me outta of the water with Cusetri  the faster guys.

Had a nice run in the RAIN this morning.

Waited for it to blow through, then had a much nicer ride this afternoon, in the sun.  I won't mention the 25mph wind, as I was just happy to be out riding and enjoying the sunshine.

I spent 45 miles as DC's parachute this morning.  I'll pull some when I get me some cycling legs.
