Well, instead of avoiding the chaos...  we ended up in the middle of it.  We didn't see any actually swimming but got up close (and almost personal with one pony) for the parade to the fair.  As chaotic (and hot) as it was, I'm glad we did it - really amazing to see.  #1 swears she wants to be a "saltwater cowgirl" when she grows up.

We did make it to the beach...  but not till about 4:30 or so.  And just for boogie boarding and sandcastle building.  My specialty!

OK...  I'm being summoned to go pick more crab legs...  Later!!

Wait, what? There's a challenge going on? *headsmack* I'm terrible.

HI I'VE MISSED YOU UNS

I think I'm at a gazillion % for swimming and maybe 20% for bike and run, for the boys. No, I am not a secret plant so that the girls will win ....

Okay, so I'm actually at 25% for biking and 33% for running, so it's just bad, not abysmal.

Around 50% overall with the swimming? At least should be able to slide well into majority with overall goal. Just not ... full.

Hi Gang - I've been out of the Crusher/Challenge circuit for a while.  (am I still a member? Laughing)  Will there be an August Challenge?

Thanks,

Duane

Once a Crusher, ALWAYS a Crusher.

We haven't even thought of an August Challenge yet.  Got any ideas?

I'm going to try that body composition one I guess - other than that - i know this will be a run heavy month for me with the St. Jude Relay the first weekend (team is doing 150 miles) and the next weekend is an 8 hour ultra.  I'm up for anything - but a weightloss challenge - i always gain weight!

I rode 60 miles today.  That puts me way over my bike goal for the month.  I'm finished with swimming, too.  I came up a little short.  One more run tomorrow.  I won't hit that goal either.  I guess I was just to busy riding my bike this month. Tongue out

Got my last run done!  I did pretty good on the challenge even though I came up 10 miles short on my run goal and a little short on my swim goal.  I'm happy.
