8200m today!! That's about 3.8% of our team's total. I have about another 3800m left I can do this month

I'm sure your name should be "So Fresh So Chlorine". Impressive distance.

I did a measly 2,400m but it means I've crossed the finish line. Well done to all that have finished and everyone thats still got a bit to go - go on, get in the pool. You will feel great when you can say "done it".

Good work. I have never completed a BT challenge. My goals are always too lofty. But they sure make me train more than I would without them.

Never?  I thought you had completed some if not all of them last year?

Keep swimming folks!  I glanced at a couple of other teams threads and see a bunch of people finishing up their goals.

I'm done team.  I finished up this afternoon by doing 2000m.  This last swim was pretty difficult to schedule, but I got it done.   How are we doing Steve?

If you want to know how we are doing - PM me or post your question here.  I'll PM you back.  I don't want to post the spreadsheet in case other teams are checking in.

We've got a number of folks sitting just shy of their goal so please get out there and send them some inspirations!  I'm hoping they are weekend swimmers!

I'm heading off to the pool right now. I'm hoping for 3000m with no stopping. Could it be a PD day....hmmmm.... That would leave me with 2000m for tomorrow and then I'll be done.....literally

Of course it might be easier if I wasn't hung over. :-(

Hi all. FINALLY managed to get some time to get a swim in after a very long time. Thanks everyone for the inspires. Sorry I haven't been able to reply to you all individually but it's been busy. My cousin (who I've lost complete touch with and haven't seen in 20 years) is in town and we've been busy with him and his wife taking them around the city. My sinus infection is gone, finished my antibiotics a couple of days ago, so that's good. I have to go back to the doc for a follow up x-ray next week to make sure that all is clear but otherwise I feel great. I will try to complete my goal tomorrow if I can get away for a bit.

Happy New Year everyone!

Great to hear from those of you who still have some swims to complete.  It may take 100% completion from most (if not all) of us.  Keep that in the back of your minds if you need more inspiration!

Happy New Year Team Canada!  Attached is our teams spreadsheet.  I'm not considering it final as there are a couple of team members I haven't heard from in a while.  But we did an awesome job when you look at how large our team was.

Great job everyone.  Hope to see you in the January Swim+Run Challenge!

Steve

I am sorry team, i had to choose between the challenge and a big fight disagreement at home and since you are not that visible on a day to day basis well, you know. I hope that my 9% that was left will not affect our ranking in the big picture of things. Time management will be one of the great challenge for the year and being assertive when i have to go training (hope that one works).

Hi everyone.  Sorry I didn't pull through and finish up my goal in the end.  I actually fell way short and just couldn't seem to find time to get to the pool.  Lots of unexpected things popped up this month that I didn't see coming and it ended up being rather stressful.   I'm be sure to redeem myself on some of the future challenges.

Happy New Year

James

Good job you Crazy Canucks!  3rd place overall is nothing to be ashamed about.  Given the size of our team I will admit to being a bit suprized at how well everyone did.  For those of you who did not make your goals I am sure you had valid reasons.  Wish you all good luck with your goals in 2007 and hope to see most of you in the January Swim Run Challenge!
