I'm afraid the doona won the fight this morning and I missed my spin class. So I did a strength session and then a very sluggish run. Someone(Mesteren!?) needs to have some stern words to me and let me know I'm "soft" so I win the doona challenge tomorrow morning(5:30am).

NO NO NO you do not seem to get it, that this is NOT the girl scouts !!! You have been upgraded to the ARMY !!!!!!! You have to be very careful now, you do NOT want me and bopper to drop by !! I very much doubt you have enough food to feed us for very long !!

Speaking of Aussie - I absolutely love Yellow Tail wines.  Especially their Merlot and their Cab.  They cannot do anything wrong in my book!

I wanted to get out of bed at 5:30 AM to be at the pool by 6:15, but my "doona" kept me locked down.  It wouldn't let me go until I finally pryed myself away from it at 6:15'ish.   Okay, 6:20.

I just finished an easy 90 min ride, which brings me up to 22.9% and the team to 25.8% I can’t believe I am holding the team back

I've changed my goal. 

 Today I've reached 84km. 

 SO I've changed my total to 300km.    So our team total has fallen to 24.89%  (Sorry Mesteren)

Oh yeah!  They're GIRL GUIDES here in Australia!  GUIDES ROCK! I used to be one!   

Me too!!! I did Pippins. Brownies and Guides until we left NZ and moved to Thailand... it hard to be a Guide over there... you need to speak the language first

Wish I was in Melbourne... its labour day or something right? Will think of you when Im working ... bleh!

Sydney doesn't have the same holiday as Melbourne?  Do they work harder in Melbourne so they get an extra holiday?

Different states so there are a couple of holidays that the states do differently to each other... is it the same in the US?

Would say... Conneticut have a couple of different holiday days to say, California?

Edited to say: Most of them are the same like Australia Day (our July 4th), Anzac Day (kind of like your memorial day I think), Christmas, Easter etc

I think we have the same holidays throughout the country, probably a few exceptions.  They have Patriot's day in Massachusetts -- don't think anyone else celebrates that.  Mostly, schools, banks and gov't employees get holidays -- the rest of us just work our @$$es off.     Bet it's the same down there.  Wah.

haha similar... yeah I guess its like Patriots day... only say one or two holiday days that are different between states but when they get theres you want yours too!

Um, winter storm watch for us this weekend.  May get some mtn laps in on late Sunday though, again, if the trails aren't too wet from the/any snow.  Hellloooooooo trainer!

Okay, so I'll make the first male comment on the Peep Show...  Love the pole dancers!  Hey, there is red blood in these tri veins, not ice water!!

Super busy at work and had to push all of my workouts to the evening again. Did ~30 miles on the trainer. Now at:

147.8/600 - 24.63% Complete

Team: 25.47%

But, I also did 10 miles on the beach late this afternoon. It was definitely a mental heath run. (Naked Run and with no shoes)

I am really digging this barefoot running thing. I would really like to run a barefoot marathon someday soon

Hey Bopper - it is a late season snow.  We rarely get snow in March.  We have trees budding, tulips coming up and buttercups in full bloom.  We've also had 70-some-odd degree weather a few times already this season.  One good snowfall will be fun to get out and play (bike!) in and around the neighborhood. 

Should be able to get some trainer miles and some schwimmy-swim in this weekend.
