kns57 - 2008-08-13 3:27 PM Hi Scott.

Man, I'm on a conference call right now, and our agency is taking a BEATING from the participants. Can't tell you what its about, but it has the potential to blow up into a national problem.

If you told us, you'd have to kill us - right? I'd rather not know. Sorry things aren't going well.

Nah, I'm at a pretty low level. I participate in some task forces because I'm a good facilitator. I like discussion - even if it gets ugly - and I'm good at least if not getting people to agree to get them to disagree amicably.

Pshaw...I've seen you in COJ.

Hiya Nibbs!  Look at me all drivin' by like what... 4 days in a row?  This whole back to school thing is so helpful for my computer time

I haven't read a book for pleasure in awhile because I'm studying for a stupidyhead exam and am finding it really hard to get through the text.  Mind you, I managed to complete an undergrad and masters degree with no problem but this stuff is killing me!  I have a pile of books that I'm saving as a "reward" when I finish the work.  Of course at this rate, that might be in 2010.

Hi princess!

2010 is a good year, I hear. I have all these bottles of wine that are supposed to peak in 2010, but they'll never last that long in my house.

Hi Nibbs!

I was near your house tonight Krsiten.  The bike piglet lives off Twin Lakes...He was really helpful. A friend of his came over and between the 2 of them they brought my saddle up maybe 1/2 inch and forward a touch.  They also brought my aerobars in some and the pads in more so my aero position is less strettched over but still with a nice flat back.  I stayed in aero for almost the whole time I rode over there!  Last thing they are consicering is taking a spacer out of the front end, but they want me to ride a minimum of 50 miles with these changes before we change anything else.

Sounds like a rgeat night - will be interesting to hear how your body adapts to the new position...

The spacer being taken out will make you even more aero.. I imagine that will be a bit for your body to get used to!

[/QUOTEThat's what they said, so we limited the changes to these so I can see how they feel on a real ride as opposedd to hitting a trainer ride.

Cool news on the bike...can't wait to get mine back from Performance on Friday.

My Olympic pizziness continues.

NBC primetime coverage =

10 minutes of women's TT

45 minutes of men's syncro diving

60 minutes of beach volleyball

and then I go to bed and miss

60 minutes of swimming and

60-90 minutes of men's gymnastics.

Instead we're flipping and watching the softball too.

Meh.

Are you in cahoots with my mother?  I just got off the phone with her... "so when are you coming to Bethesda?"  Only she doesn't want me to come drink wine (well, that's sort of a given because my step-dad enjoys the vino), she just wants me to come so she can unload a bunch of junk on me (that she will tell me is so valuable and I'll be sorry if I don't take it) that she can't bear to part with... so instead she'll give it to me to part with!!!!

Even when she came down to meet us for the forced R&R last week she brought a box of stuff!  Aye yie yie.

I vote yes. And wine will last (well, at least that's what I hear...) a night or three if you don't drink it all at once.

I wish SHE would put it on eBay instead of giving it to me to do.  The problem is, of course, that this would require the use of the intrawebz for a financial transaction... and it makes my step-dad askeered to do so.  He's 86.  I do cut him some slack.

Nope, I'm not going to foist off a bunch of junk on you.  I put junk out as soon as possible cause I hate clutter!  However...Nibbs are coming up on the first anniversary and I think we really need to celebrate that so a wine event at my house sounds good.

OMG... my kids like Great Wold Lodge better than Disney.  They are opening one here but I'm not sure when.
