Kinda tired. Was it a good run? Not too bad.  I ran a little faster than I normally do for the distance, but it turned out ok. Maybe I'm just getting stronger or something. |

I'm finally able to sign on from home and it looks like everybody is gone.... BTW, Bill... how did Jackson fair?.... looked like you guys were getting a lot of tornados (or as DS #1 kept saying "tomatoes" mmm... tomatoes. That certainly would have been better than tornadoes. Jackson got pretty lucky. Most of them hit north or south of us. I don't think any of us lost power. And I haven't heard any word that the twisters hit any populated areas. Whew... Looks like Baton Rouge may be the place that took on the worst of this one. I haven't heard any specifics, though. With all these tornadoes that keep coming through these parts of the world Im amazed so many people still live in these areas... is it something Im not 'getting'? These are coming from the thunderstorms that get shed off of hurricanes. |

Tornadoes are cyclones that are just parts of thunderstorms that pop up in really bad ones. Happens no matter where you live, but tends to occur mostly in flatter areas. Hurricanes are the strongest storms on earth that form out in the ocean and make a big cyclone over the water before either staying out in the water or hitting land. |
