Champion 19812 MA | Subject: RE: December's "Get Your A$$ On The Trainer" challenge! I rode outside and was wicked hot I had to go back home and change into cooler clothes then ran out of time to ride longer..but worked hard while out on the bike. Champion 8903 | Subject: RE: December's "Get Your A$$ On The Trainer" challenge! As of 7:00 PM EST. Maybe Newleaf will have a flat tire. Are there any bike shops open at 9:00 PM in his area? And I have to get my butt moving, both Mav and Aquagirl are pulling away here!

Member 44 Abingdon, MD | Subject: RE: December's "Get Your A$$ On The Trainer" challenge! Finally got home from the conference and felt like doing nothing but eating and sleeping. Got on the trainer for just 15 minutes and I have to admit that it felt great to move!! Then my 9 year old wanted to know (actually begged me) if we could "do some abs" together. How could I say no?? |

Watch out, next thing you know, the 9 year old will have a BT nic, enter into the bike challenge and end up beating us all.

Grabbed 45 min in the saddle post Miss Thing's concert (needed fast music to erase the memory of the awful 6th grade orchestra) In case you wonder, Miss Thing is 7th grade choir. |

I did 1 hr. I did the first 30 min straight and then I did 3 sets of 10 min with some brief weights in between. Does that still count? All in all my was in the saddle and my little legs peddled for 60 min. My goal was an hour but I had to break it up..........the behind is still a tiny bit sore. Oh ya.........didn't want to break my bonus streak! Maggs |

If I could figure out a way to ride the trainer and surf BT at the same time, I'd be leading this thing by a wide margin!

Oh ya.........didn't want to break my bonus streak! Maggs I used to take a cycle class at a Y called cycle and scuplt where we used 5 to 8 lb weights and did various strength training upper body with slowed cadence pedaling alternating with no weights and hard cadence +/or tension. It was a great class. A form of intervals which is all the good stuff |

I've had to listen to the extensive practice of jingle bells on the flute for the past month. the concert for the 4th grade orchestra is monday :} Im sitting here at the conference today wishing I had brought some food. The lukewarm egg, sausage and cheese thing I ate is not sitting well. But.... I will still ride tonight QueenZipp - 2008-12-04 10:00 PM Betcha thought I wasn't going to get my ride on today. WRONG! Master 1209 New York, NY | Subject: RE: December's "Get Your A$$ On The Trainer" challenge! The last thing I wanted to do when I go home last night was get on the trainer. BUT, I want bonus points!! As added motivation I also purchased what may be some of the best cookies ever. I know, I know.... not the healthiest form of motivation but I have a sweet tooth that doesn't quit and I swear these cookies were calling my name. I did make myself earn my cookies though....75 minutes last night and another 45 this morning. |

Maybe I'll look into that 60 minutes on the trainer earns me 2 cookies, so I think I'm still ahead of the game. |
