Since our team name is hot toddies and I just opened up a nice bottle of red wine (heart healthy you know ) what is your favorite drink?

I enjoy wine of all kinds, frozen mai tai's, dying to try peppermint schnapps and hot chocolate.  Mmmmm, yummy!  Let's hear it!

I love beer, beer, beer!!!...Yuengling light is my favorite!....I also like to add Kahlua to coffee!...I think a hot toddie has rum and apple juice/cider in it....it is very good!

ebshot - 2008-12-02 9:40 PM Shoot, where is everyone else tonight???

I don't know! We know the Vixens thread is at least a bit more active!

No doubt!  I don't get it.  Like people have better things to do than spend their evenings on BT?  I think not!

Yeah, I have no life outside of BT some days so I accept it and I'm fine with it!

I try to just drink beer on weekends....especially during Eagles football games!....I usually do my long run on Sundays, so I feel justified drinking beer and eating wings!!!

Last challenge I did, there was a major competition to see who would be on top. Yes, all the innuendo intended.

hello toddies. (cute name btw) i know a couple of you, wally and jimmy anyway, sorry i'm so late to the party, my modem crapped out on me on FRIDAY and i just TODAY got back online. (it's been a ROUGH weekend!)
anyway, my name's lyssa, i'm a stay at home-homeschool mom. i have three kids 8,4 and 2. i'm 31, been married for almost 11 years. i've raced for two seasons now, and i'm planning to do some more racing this up and coming season, but my big focus for the month is running. i've decided to do my first marathon (end of june) and i'm terrified/excited.
i've kind of scanned through the last 9 pages (feeling smelly for not being here too) so i've "met" you guys kind of. i think this month will be fun. i'll be on here a LOT. (stay at home mom, this is pretty much my social outlet-LOL)
anyway, go toddies go. i absolutely can't do the table, but yay to whoever can/will.

Honestly....I could be better. I'm trying to find some answers. A whole relationship issue which I don't remember if i wrote about it in this thread or the other challenge. I'm really looking to find some sort of sign or something to point me in the right direction. Or at least answer some questions.

But, really overall, things are good. How's about yourself?

(Sorry...it's getting late here. I'm getting weird.)

I logged my run in MyFoodDiary and tracked my crappy points on a spreadsheet about Vixens and put my pushups in my food log on a thread about alcohol.

So, how are you guys doing?

Wally, totally a sign (set of signs). I'm BIG into signs. Go with it, if it works. I'd say just relax at this point and focus on your kids and training - it sounds like that was the biggest sign of all, to lay off relationships altogether!

So I've finally untangled that I'm supposed to run for this challenge. Thus, run report:

Went for a GREAT run today - a trail run! Went up, up, up the hill at, um, a somewhat, er, slower pace than normal. But whatever, I was really proud of myself for trying it. I'll keep getting out there, and eventually I'll be like, "When was this hard?" I've got this really fuzzy and amorphous (and completely and utterly insane) thought of doing the Pittsfield Snowshoe Race in March - 6+ miles and 1400' of elevation gain. And that's the "Fun" Run!! Yeowch. I'll put off entering until the last minute so I don't feel trapped into it, which would tank my workouts rather than encourage them. But maybe, just maybe, I'll make it...

That's great to hear. Hills are perfect training. My running club has a VERY hilly route that we do on tuesday nights. It doesn't matter how fast you run the hills, if you keep at them week after week, eventually you surprise yourself. You're putting in the same effort yet you look at your watch and you can't believe how much faster you're going.

Yeah, I keep telling myself I like hills and eventually I'll fly up them like it's flat.  Not happening yet though!  I have a huge hill to run up no matter what local route I take.  Well, it's huge to me anyway!

Morning Team

Just wanted to pop in and prove that I am a morning person.  I wasn't lying.  I'm back at work for the first time in a week and already a little bored replying to emails.  The good news is the boss is gone till next week so its still a little like vacation.

Mmmmmm.....hills.  I love em.

When I visit my sister in San Diego she basically has a footpath that starts in her backyard that winds up a mountain.  Of course I don't stop till i reach the top and its been one of my favorite workouts cuz it really kicks my butt.  Yes, I'm a little masochistic like that.
