That sounds like a good thing to me, meaning they gave you more Meg of space allocation. he routed my email archive to my drive on the server instead of the hard drive on my comp. ever since he did that i can only access my archive half the time, i have to restart outlook and sometimes re-connect to the network or restart my laptop, several times a day. and when i'm on travel i can't access it at all which is a HUGE problem as i store lots of crap in there...it's just FRUSTRATING. and he will NOT put the archive back on my laptop because it's not backed up. wtf. Is this a policy? Is it YOUR choice, as the customer, to decide what you want and where you want to maintain your archive (obvious disclaimer that they won't be responsible if you don't back it up yourself)? However, since they made the change, THEY need to fix it! I work in IT and that needs to be done - no excuses. luckily we have another IT person, i'm gonna see if she'll do it. |

It's like anything -- you don't buy it just because it's on sale, but if you're going to buy one anyway, might as well buy now. All it takes is some restraint.
