Hopefully its nothing According to my scales i've lost 30 pounds in the last 3 days (since the weigh in). I've been using Wii Fit to do my weighing as my housemate has it , and it also tracks it much better than i could. I'm gonna go into town buy a proper set of scales instead see if its nothing. I dont get it , i had a really bad day in terms of eating, i ate quite a few snacks and then decided i should go gym before my dinner because of the snacks then ate my dinner. (Sandwhich and a mango)
edit ps i have tried changing the batteries in the balance board. I am off to go buy a Wii right this minute. If I can lose thirty pounds in three days by using a Wii, I am sold. Yeah, I read the later posts that said the weight reappeared. But maybe I could keep it off. Maybe. Seriously, on my home scale (which I don't use here on Team Skinny, only the Weight Watchers official weight) I weighed 149.5. Did you see that "4" in the middle there? Right after the "1"? I haven't seen a 4 in a long time. I've got my fingers crossed that it will still be there on Wednesday at WW. Great job!!! |

Like we have parades and all but it seems to me that people have a lot more fun around the world than we have here. There's gigs allright but not much traditional is happening, at least not here in Limerick. And towards the end of the day it might bet messy - that's why I usually stay home on Paddys day, unless there's rugby on. And this year we're very lucky- it isn't raining but more than that it's sunny and warm! |

Happy St Patrick’s Day, Jo, hope you enjoy the Guinness See we don't do it here - like people drink green beer for Paddys Day in Europe but not here and I doubt it'll ever happen. It's just a day off for most people and an excuse to open pubs first thing in the morning. I'm a bit of a freak of nature as I don't like Guinness but every year I make an effort to have one pint on Paddys Day - last year I nearly managed to finish half of my pint so hope to do a bit better this year ![]() |

Did get a good run in on Saturday, but other than that I was not so good with the eating (couldn't get away from the old "I am on vacation" thought). Plus the two days of 10 hour drives didn't help the activity level. I am thinking I will have to train even harder tonight just to not gain. Hello to all of the new faces! |

So I figure, I'd better get it done before I head out for the evening (Mom and I have a date with a movie theater). We're going to go see Watchmen. I hear it's really good. And based on how I've been eating lately, no popcorn for me! Anywho, weight (on Wed) was 190.4. Probably a few lbs heavier since I wasn't eating very much when I took the measurement, and I've binged a few times since then... Mostly ribs, pizza, been drinking soda like it's going out of style. But I have been drinking tons of water too, so that's kind of weird, not a total loss. Just need to realize that I have to get back to normalcy before it's too late! ![]() Movie nights have a total exemption from any kind of diet ![]() It was ok, if you're into that sort of thing. What was most disappointing was the sex, and other porn related issues in the film. That sort of stuff just isn't appealing to me. Then there was the issue that it sort of dragged on, and on, and on... If I were you, I'd wait. Now the new Harry Potter flick... Can't wait for that to come out (half-blood prince). Mom and I have a standing date to see it (books were good too). |

Kind of surprised too, since I've been eating nothing but fattening foods, Pizza, KFC, Soda, SUGAR!!! Oh well, I'll take it where I can get it. School is about done for the qtr. Got 4 days left, and 4 tests. I finished my paper finished this morning, of 10 pgs, I ended up with 16. For the qtr though, I'm looking at straight B's, not too happy, but I'll live. Secondly, I graduate this weekend with one of my degrees, and next qtr I get a second degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a Psyche Emphasis. From Degree 1 to Degree 2 is a difference of 1 class, and apparently I can use the clout of two degrees instead of 2 superceding 1. Really happy about that. Next wk I get off, then start back up on Mon. the 30th. Trying to relax and hit the gym starting monday, again. Maybe this time, I'll be able to stick to it. |

I have taken to eating more post workout when it's my long monday group swim/bike/run night. I had no idea how much fuel we need after a long workout to repair out muscles and stuff... something about glycogen stores? anyway, i'm learning!

I met a friend for lunch today and had cheesecake smothered in fudge and chocolate. I only got about half way through when I started to feel like I'd taken drugs - sort of hyper alert and shaky, nasty feeling and felt nauseous for the rest of the afternoon. I rarely eat anything so sweet these days - mainly savoury bad treats and it was scray seeing the effect it had on me. Gave me a bit of wake up call. Have given myself a good talking to and I've been shopping for lots of fruit and decent food. Off to the physio tomorrow to see about my back - happened after a bike ride so I'm sure it's a problem with my bike posture, I can foresee another bike fit in my near future. |
