Hello Nibbs. 

I'd be happy to skip right to July if we are skipping months.  May and June are going to be crazy here at work with our new hours and all the vacation that was already approved for people who then transferred to my branch.  Ugh!

So sorry to hear that you hurt your ankle.  Darn heels!  That's why I never wear them, that and the fact that hubby is only 1 inch taller than me.  LOL

Feel better soon.  Is it allergies?  Mine is.

Wow, Nibbs is so easy to catch up on now.  I guess all good things eventually slow down and come to an end. 

Don't think so, but I don't want to take the chance and have it turn into something major.

Once you get through May, it's only one more month until you get to watch hot guys on bikes every day!!!

Interrupt all you want though, because I have been so AWOL that it would die waiting for me to get it finished.

The doctor thinks it's possibly strep, although my throat isn't hurting. Ear infections in both ears, acute bronchitis, laryngitis, etc. I'm on a 10 day course of strong antibiotics, prednisone, albuterol, etc. I'm having a bad reaction to one of the meds, too. Not sure which one yet. (Maybe the pred.)

And now, the nororvirus is going around at work. Lovely.....

Cat - have you ever had side effects from prednisone? 'Cause I'm feeling miserable on it.....

Well, at least it's not the stomach virus.... That would be worse. I sound like a 12-pack-per-day smoker though. HACCCCCCK HACCCCCCK.

Maybe it's opening your airways too....You have asthma?

I never knew I could use the word swimming and fun in the same sentence.  It's wierd....it was fun today.

Dee - oh yeah it messes me up terribly... it would take a lot for me to go back on it even though I know its good at what it does!

What have you got going on with it?

I was on high doses what is considered a very long time.... I got insomnia, nausea, water retention, swelling, spots, mood swings, fat redistribution, weight gain... umm... Im sure there is more....

The sooner you can step down the dose and get off it the better... or at least  low doses!

Having said that... most people when they get really sick do swear by it... the benefits to outweight the negatives in many situations!

In that case.... shall we go straight to July?

You should be in a commercial and be the announcer who disclaims the side effects.  Serious.

Wow, you really are sick.  Hope that you can recover soon.  And it does sound like the pred is not doing you any favors.

Today is the first day of the library being open 7 days a week again.  We have been closed on Sun & Mon since last August.  It will go one of two way.  Be really busy because people are happy we are open, or very slow because they haven't caught on to the fact that we are open.  I guess I know the answer in about 4 hours.
