Master 1734 On a lake in the Adirondacks in NY | Subject: RE: Team B - April Challenge Hey Team! Just finishing up my lunch (salad, not exciting) and getting ready to head over to the kids' school to man the book fair for the afternoon. Had I known it was going to be 70 deg and sunny on my long bike day I never would have volunteered. It will kill me if the weather changes and I am stuck on the trainer tonight. The long range forecast says rain and snow for Saturday. I'm sorry, but that's just not possible. How could we go from 70 degs to snowing in 3 days? |

Had an interesting bike ride last night that was just a comedy of errors from start to finish...got 17 mile in though. We're supposed to have storms all day today, so not sure what I'll get done. Yoga tomorrow...YaY!! You HAVE to give us more details!!! Glad you got in the miles anyway. 1. One of the guys in our group headed out early. Since it was his birthday, I suggested they leave a fun message on his car with shoe polish. Didn't think they'd do it...they did. So we got started late. 2. Five miles into the ride...flat. 3. Head wind/cross wind gusting to 30 mph with enough pollen in the air to make it chewy. 4. Crossing over the Ark River on the Main St. bridge...had to hit granny gear due to the uphill and headwind. Still only going 4 mph! 5. Downtown...we hit every red light. 6. Three long uphills back to back...couldn't hack it...had to hit the granny gear again. 7. Pulled up to busiest intersection in town during rushour traffic and was admiring an 140.6 sticker on an SUV and dreaming of the day I can have one. Unclipped left and leaned to the right. You know what happened from there. All sorts of stuff scratched and twisted. 8. Phone located in bento box rings. Glasses fall out when I was reaching to mute it. My time...no phone calls please. 9. Headed down Overlook, almost hit by a Porsche. Really, why would someone want to intentionally dart at each of us. 10. Headed back across the Big Damn Bridge, rolled thru poop. Why do dogs have to poop up there and why don't people pick up after them? 11. Back to car. Check messages and hubbs is pissed b/c I'm late for the dinner he made. EDIT: forgot my Gu and water bottle was nasty tasting. Edited by crews 2010-04-07 12:56 PM |

Let's hope I don't get lost today. I missed my turn on Monday and ended up in Rhode Island (hi Kathy!). So, my loop ended up being an out and back. A very hilly out and back. 95o here, so I swam. To heck with these summer temps. I'm just not ready. |

Copy Nicole's code, then go to your log and hit the edit button. When the edit screen comes up, hit the button that says "HTML". This will show the html version of your goals. Find the place where you want your table (look for the actual text so you know where you are) and paste the code there. Then hit the "update" button. The table should be there. |

I probably run not leaning forward enough and landing on my heels. This is not what I think I do but I believe that is what the video will show. This week we are supposed to focus on being aware of where we are landing on our feet. Since there is so much padding under my heel I probably can't feel it when I land.... I really zone out when I run so paying attention will be harder....and awkward!KOM - 2010-04-05 10:56 PM Evening team! Had a crazy day at work then straight to a Chi Running clinic then to spin class. Glad I got it all in but I am worn out now. Any team name is fine with me. Sorry I am not much help! Chi Running clinic? Oooo. I am jealous. I so need to go to one of those! How was it? At least you're running. Lately, I'm just working.... |
