I went for a MTB ride and didn't even come close to shorts and t-shirt! I had 2 pair of socks, running tights, with warm up pants over the top, compression shirt, jacket and hat and gloves! Luckly I found a hat that will fit under my helmet! Oh how I miss warm weather already, and there is at least 4 months to go! Oh well, 11 miles on bike followed by a 2 mile run, still a good day!Timmay: I love live shows! Hope you had fun. Had a great time at the mountain bike race yesterday. I need to learn how to shift my gears properly. I kept knocking my chain loose. 14 miles. Forgot to start my gps thingy on my cell, so no clue on time. My girl cheering my on. Veteran 487 | Subject: RE: Looking for a Few Virtual Training Partners v2.0 Didn't work out today being that Sunday's are my rest days. But yeserday I managed to swim a mile in the pool and only needed to take three short rests. Not to bad considering that I have not swam that distance in about a month. Now that my son is on the road to recovery I can dedicate more of my time and energy to training and not so much into worrying about him. |

Master 2177 | Subject: RE: Looking for a Few Virtual Training Partners v2.0 Tonight was long swim night at "swim team". I thought I had this handled since I made it through speed night, no problem. Nope. I have asthma. It rarely shows itself, but it did tonight. I thought I was just winded, but when I was doing backstrokes and still ended up struggling for breath after each 25, I knew I was in trouble. My husband comes to all my swim stuff. He says he's nervous about me in water. Tonight I was grateful for his lack of confidence, lol! Note to self: Bring albuterol pump EVERYWHERE. |

Extreme Veteran 1329 Wausau WI | Subject: RE: Looking for a Few Virtual Training Partners v2.0 Saturdays 20 mile run turned into about 19. The nozel of my fuel pack froze up so didn't have anything to drink. Around mile 15 calf cramped up, ended up stopping and drinking from the bladder. |

Extreme Veteran 409 | Subject: RE: Looking for a Few Virtual Training Partners v2.0 Here's a funny one. I normally work out after the kids go to bed, but I am trying to shift to am workouts. Yesterday I missed my run because my little man was up chucking all night and day; he's better now. Long story short, I got up and got 3 mi in afterward I hopped in my pool to ice the knees a bit. When I was standing there freezing I saw that I ran with two different shoes. Same brand just current and old running shoe. Haha |

Champion 7546 Santa Cruz, California | Subject: RE: Looking for a Few Virtual Training Partners v2.0 rode over 30 miles with my husband on Saturday~ he is an uphiller and I used to be a downhill racer ~ so we comprimised and started flat and ended with lots of up and down ~ I was happy because the ups were not LONG but instead short climbs ~ and I must say I do believe that my spin classes are already helping some!?! hoping that one day I will love to climb as much as I do to descend! |

Extreme Veteran 409 | Subject: RE: Looking for a Few Virtual Training Partners v2.0 I thought I was going to get a spin class in this afternoon. For the 1st time I tried out the kid zone at 24 hr; my twins did great; however, baby girl was convinced they were out to get her. I at least got in 30 min of the class. |

Veteran 222 | Subject: RE: Looking for a Few Virtual Training Partners v2.0 Lumber Dad - 2011-12-19 8:45 Haha, dunno if I would call myself a runner just yet, but I'm definitely past "hating it". I actually enjoyed my 2.5 on the tread this afternoon, 1st mile easy, last 2.5 bumped it up to 8:30m/mi. Just before that swam 2000 years or so. MS was 4x400, speed work Wed!!! (Thanks Blanda!) Weather looking sketchy this week, hopefully my longer runs can be outside... I shudder at the idea of 6-7 miles on the treadmill... Nice job becoming a runner! |

Veteran 222 | Subject: RE: Looking for a Few Virtual Training Partners v2.0 Whoa... need to proof read better! 2000 yards not years, and kicked up the pace the last 1.5 not 2.5.... Knocked out 4.6 miles today, kept really steady splits which has been tough for me, between 9:35 and 9:38 all 4 miles :-) |

Extreme Veteran 1123 Sidney, Ohio | Subject: RE: Looking for a Few Virtual Training Partners v2.0 Another solid day, 50 minutes on the spinner. This is getting old and would much rather be riding outside, but at 6pm its completely dark and not worth the risk! Easy 2 mile run afterwards to keep the run up! Need to keep the miles up, I have just made the commitment to several early season races. Dirt Dawg 8 miler in January, Glass city HM in Late April and being pushed to run the Athens HM in early April! May use the first HM as a training run and not push the pace! The glass City will have several friends in it so the competition will be strong. I am ready for some races, I tend to stay more focused when I know there is a race coming up! Hope everyone has a good Wednesday |

Master 2177 | Subject: RE: Looking for a Few Virtual Training Partners v2.0 My husband has demanded I do not go into the pool until I get a new albuterol prescription. The one I have expired. OI. So, no swim team for me tonight. I'll do the spin class and run on the T-Mill. GREAT JOB, GUYS! |

Veteran 222 | Subject: RE: Looking for a Few Virtual Training Partners v2.0 Had a really good swim with a guy that's usually finishing his set when I am showing up. I hopped in and he asked what the workout was for today. I said "speed work and IM's... you in?" He shrugged and agreed (he had already knocked out a few thousand yards) 500 of drills and easy swimming to warm up, then 10x50 on :50, 5x100 on 1:40, and 2x100IM on 2:00... 30 second rest between sets.. man did it hurt! Its really nice to have someone pushing you! Jumped on the treadmill after a quick shower for a very light 2.1 miles... Happy Wed! I need a nap! Dont kick yourself too bad for ditching your swim, just work extra hard on the next one! |

Veteran 222 | Subject: RE: Looking for a Few Virtual Training Partners v2.0 Lumber Dad - 2011-12-22 8:54 AM dogs are awesome! One of my two girls poops out after a few miles running, she can walk 8-10. The other one pulls and pulls and pulls... To the point its significantly more tiring to run with her, and both at the same time? Forget it! Haha. Just knocked out a really nice 4.6 miler. Had just enough pace to feel it the last mile. Neg split the first three without really trying, and fell a little off just a little (:15) at the end. Great job everyone, just think how far ahead we will be come spring!!! Off to get measured for new running shoes :-). Went out for an easy run with the dog this morning. Stopped to let him check out the ice, he likes to walk in the water so I think he was confused to find it solid.
