I'm humbled just thinking about what happened there, I cannot imagine how I'd feel actually being there and walking that ground. Visiting Bastogne is a close second and will probably get added to the trip if I ever make it over there to see it all.

If you should get the chance, I highly recommend the battlefields through northern France and Belgium from WW1.  It's a sobering and moving experience that I recommend to anyone who has an interest in that period of world history.

Hello my Gorgeous friend! 

It was a LOT of driving, but the trip was so worth it - unfortunately, we thought that watching Saving Private Ryan would be appropriate last night once we got home and then I couldn't sleep last night cuz every time I closed my eyes all I could see was the poor guy at the beginning walking around the beach looking for his arm. 

Cakes ordered... dress is still too big and I'm hugely panicking about that, flowers I'll try to figure out tomorrow when I'm back at work & we got a case of champagne from the duty free yesterday, so everything is somewhat getting there! 

How are you?  Still sweating out wine & ham?  Cuz that's sexy.

  I watched Game of Thrones before bed last night and had absolutely the most bizzare sex dreams I think I've ever had.  Somehow I ended up working in a brothel, surrounded by wolves, but only doing "exhibition" shows.  Yeah, NO idea.  Obviously, the wine didn't help any.

It sounds like you've made some progress.  Dress too big probably isn't a good thing... do you have a tailor to help with that?  Otherwise, they have some really amazing shades of duct tape lately.  They even have hot pink leopard print...  it could work?

I'm all right... a little hungover and spent all day with my family yesterday which is a recipe for stress... but otherwise hanging in there.

Nice to meet you Chris!  Definitely do the trip if you get the chance - I can't recommend it enough. 

It's one of those memorable movie scenes isn't it?  It's so confronting and horrifying and so many other things... all at the same time.  Would have brought it all home in a very personal way after the trip (which sounds incredible).

Hopefully the next trip is just as enjoyable, but not quite as... what's the word... emotional I guess?

Yay First cup of coffee down, Lasers all fired up and hot, streams all flowing nice and laminarly.  Lets hope the day stays this smooth so I can get some studying done at work.
