OK, actualy I was $380 and some change.... But I have another couple hundred bucks burning a hole in my pocket if anyone want to help out. I'm hoping to be a couple hundred lighter after the IMAZ weekend.

ANYWAY, coworker that just quit a week or so ago, after I left, my boss said it was probably for the best. He was a fantastic worker, but had some, um "baggage"... I was confused, but at the same time, didn't care so didn't persue it. Anyway, boss pulls me aside a bit later and explained the guy did some "stuff" 5-10 years ago that landed him on the NSOR... Some icky kind of stuff... At first blush, I was like "he was a kid" but then thought about it some more and was like EWWWWWW!!!!!! Anyway, he has to tell his workplace and where he lives that he's a felon on the list. How about having to do that for the rest of your life. Not that this is typical or the norm but I worked for a company that only hired felons and guys with ankle bracelets to work in production. Some were drug offenses, one rapist, several assult and battery, carjacking, exposing self in public .. things along those lines. Every morning they'd check in with me .. sign in then I'd wait for their parole officers to call and see if they were there. Great fun. But all in all they were very nice guys that just effed up in their lives. Even the guy with the rape charge .. it wasn't a violent rape but the he was 18 his GF was 17 and her parents hated him. I never felt scared around them and when I was pregnant they treated me like a princess and brought me burritos and Mexican cokes. But again .. not typical. Mexican coke is better than Columbian coke..... |

The story was at 17, he got hooked on porn and the got arrested for exposing himself to minors. So I'm thinking, yeah, horny 17yr olds do stupid things like that. I have seen high school streakers at Sonic Burger or something... People streaked in college... BUT, is was his little sister. So I wonder how bad it had to be if that's what he got busted for. If it was just that, I don't think a parent would have him arrested. So it HAD to be more and was downgraded to exposure... me thinks. Nice guy, and I like him when I didn't know. Heck, still like the guy. Nice and smart. But it's a bit creepy knowing. Good he's gone I guess. |
