Morning Ghoulies.

Well, I have gone and done it, got in the NYC tri. I have been wanting to do that race for a while. I have no idea why it draws me. I was in 2 years ago, but had to withdraw for the death of Jim's Dad. I hope nothing goes wrong this time. I really want to do it.

Now I really have to get my azz in gear!

Good morning Ghoulies!

I have to take sick/vacation time in 8 hour chunks. Yesterday I put a few hours in so I wouldn't have to work a full day today. I was going to work from home. We had a major piece of equipment go down late yesterday afternoon, so I'm in the office now to replace it. Hopefully I'm out of here by 11:00 today.

Have a slam dunk day!!!

Car is all packed for my trip. 

Rotary is done for the day.

Lunch with a peer & mentor at noon

Retirement party and transfer party at 3pm

Leave work by 4pm

Hit the road by 5pm

My day is all mapped out, where do I fit work in?

deehtz - 2012-11-21 10:02 AM We leave this afternoon for overnight but it is only an hour and half drive.  I have one of my dishes ready (chocolate truffles and peanutbutter truffles)  and will fix the other one before we leave (broccoli/pasta salad).

I swam Monday for the first time in ages.  The good news is that I remember how   Actually it was relaxing.

I was going to run with Hanna today before we hit the road but it is windy and rainy, so I don't know.  And I am afraid that DH's cold is catching me.

heehee.  They certainly aren't as pretty as store bought, but they do taste quite good!  Too bad that you aren't closer.  I could share!

mndymond - 2012-11-22 8:58 PM Happy thanksgiving. My residency applications have been officially submitted! Have to wait until mid December to find out if/where I will interview across Canada. Melissa may be coming to a neighborhood near you in the new year (if you live in Canada anyways...). It will be kind of cool to get to "run across" Canada do to speak!! Crossed fingers!

Morning Ghoulies.

Thanksgiving was nice, and low key. Went with friends for a 'family-style" dinner. (I ate not-too much). Then everyone was going to come down here for a fire- pit night. They called late, and said they were too lazy to come down the the DH and I hung in the hot tub with some champagne for a bit.

Today is DECORATE PINE GABLES day! Outside stuff today while the weather is still warm.

Of course I have fingers and toes crossed you get what you want, where you want.

mndymond - 2012-11-23 8:54 AM I put in 33 applications for emergency medicine, anesthesia and family medicine. I want emerg but it's ++ competitive so I applied in other stuff too!
