OK Dark Master... after all the crap you gave me about yesterday... there has to be a problem with my time....

warm up mile at 9:12

4 800's @ 3:26 = 13:44

2 rest intervals @ 2:00 = 4:00

cool down 1.5 miles @ 9:00 = 13:30

Total time 40:26

Nevermind... I realized what I did... I ran the half mile warm up, stretched and then continued running the mile.  Never stopped my watch.

One word:

Goober.

With the warm-up, cool-down, and the rest intervals, it's not uncommon to have an average pace slower than some other runs.

I hate 800s....

Kiley, I think you're better off waiting for a good long while before going anywhere near a track to run after you've healed.

Artemis - 2007-10-02 6:21 PM I ran again today instead of swimming. 2.28 miles and I ran outside for the first time since the stress fracture. I feel sooo slow! I felt like I could go faster, but I'm almost afraid to because I don't want to get injured again.

WHOOO-HOOOO! You got to run outside!!! Didn't it feel great? Oh man...I'm just having a cathartic experience here so...ahhhhh...niiiiiice. =) hahaha! Nice job on the run, and just don't over do it!

It was great!  I was so tired of the treadmill, but my doc said to give it 2 - 3 weeks on the treadmill before I went outside (I did 3).

As far as pacing, don't worry, everyone!  I'm not going to push myself and run too hard.  The last thing I want is to be stuck in the damn cast for another 8 weeks and not be able to run.  No way.  It's just weird to have to hold yourself back while you're running.

Haha, well I'm not thinking of any actual running "work outs" until at least next spring so...I concur.  =

The guys who wrote my training plan are track fanatics....   one track run per week, every week.

Figured it out, but the picture isn't what I thought it would be.  Hmmm... guess I will have to keep going.

Keep it up Wolves!

That one was worse than the two silver bullets we got yesterday.

Yeah, most the smack talk has been rather weak overall.  I am amused how they go on and on about our posting, when they do as much posting as any of us.  We'd have half the pages we do if outsiders weren't always so interested in commenting.  And the posting seems to have little effect on my running miles right now.

Run to the pool, swim {if you must}, then run back.

Wish I could but I don't have a place to shower at work.  Plus we are right outside the port and there are a lot of big trucks going really fast to get onto the interstate.  Not a big fan of running out in front of them.

Aqua jog then.  You could log that as both a run and a swimming workout.
