I was really tired today, but really glad I ran anyway.  2 hour group run - the time almost flew by   Now is the hard part -- accomplishing something other than training around the  house....

Go monkeys!!!!

2 hr run group!?

I'm impressed - wow - there would be no getting anything else done around my house, i'd have to take a 4 day nap after that - LOL

A 4 day nap sounds good to me!!!  The only thing I've gotten done so far is download data from my garmin, and eat lunch

The update is a little early today, but I have some "work work" that I still need to do, so.... Here it is!

January Challenge Week 4 Update
Ranking Team # of Participants Percentage Completed
1 Who's Your Marmadaddy? 13 98.11%
2 Scrambled Legs 13 90.67%
3 Flying Fish 15 88.77%
4 Loving Every Mile – L.E.M. 13 86.36%
5 Wet and Wild 15 83.51%
6 Twisted Blisters 13 82.12%
7 Team T.I.T.S. 14 77.72%
8 Funky-Chrono-Monkeys of the Frozen Cinder Tundra 12 68.91%
9 Team Ride Lots 13 66.48%

CONGRATULATIONS to Who's Your Marmadaddy? This is the THIRD week in a row that they've had the top ranking!

BUT remember that the challenge isn't over yet! Some of the teams are really close.

January is now 87.1% completed. This is the FINAL WEEK of the challenge, so RUN, BIKE, SWIM! There's still time to help your team achieve that #1 ranking!

Okay, I was just getting back from my run when the results were posted, so I guess it will show up on the final.

Last week.  Many people are close, let's do it.  no more monkeying around.

I just hit 100% of my (apparently low) goal today (yay! ) - but I'm not sure how this works. If I continue to log running time, will that help compensate for those who...have been flinging too much poo (instead of running!)?

Oooh, rock band can be a lot of fun! Maybe even more fun than actually being in a rock band...

Thanks to whoever has been updating my time.    Sorry I've been a forum slacker this month, life has been extremely crazy.  Last week I picked up another job (total = 3) that is proving to be quite time intensive.

I have one hour left which is definitely do-able.  If the soreness in my legs let up, I'll punch it out tonight.  If not, tomorrow morning.

Great work team!

They spoke about letting people go up to 120% to compensate for all those folks fight off some type of crud.  don't know if that became official or not.

BTW, Great job hitting 100%.  I should do that tomorrow or Thursday.

Good job Pam! Get it done.

I pushed through a struggle of a run and added sometime to go over the top in case I have to bag my next run due to illness.

The good of the challenge - while I did not quite hit every run at the planned timeframe, I did do all my runs in a given week and the weekly total was close to the planned total.  Now, to keep that up all year.

GO TEAM - Keep on climbing to the top. Sounds like most of us metered out our effort and are finishing up right at the end of the month, as it should be. No sandbaggin' here.

BIG congrats to skarl, crea0029, Bluejack, jcjsc00, and Sledge for all hitting 100%! Way to go team! Pretty much everyone else is within range of the goal...so just keep running like the monkeys we are!

I'm off to run a bit more tonight - just trying to get a bit closer to that 120% limit by the end of tomorrow...
