Hey-My profile video is up!

You can now see and hear me being...myself   Maneesh had me take his niece and nephews sled of a test run...or two five.  I actually made it through all 4 switchbacks on the trail, but of course, that run wasn't captured on video.

It is more fun to watch me run into things anyway.  Check it out.

Nevermind...it isn't working.

wait...it is just really slow to load.

these are so the makings of good avatars!

Wonder if I should post a plea for MR Men avatars somewhere...

We need to recruit Mike, Rudy, and Walt...they might go for it.  Especially if there was incentive.

I am willing to provide incentive.

Me too..not that Yanti incentives ever need back up!!!

Morning Nibbs!  Hope all had a wonderful Christmas/holiday.  Loving the weather in Dallas.  We were at Six Flags yesterday, and it got up to 68 degrees.  I'm gonna have a hard time going back to MN...

I am at my parents, but I am going home.  The ground is finally slush free, but I don't have my running shoes!  Must get shoes!

But I will be back...

Hello Nibbs.

Any New Years Eve plans for anyone? We are going out to dinner and then will visit with friends. I might actually stay up until midnight this year. LOL

No plans so far...

I have sooooooooo much that I need to get done.  I haven't put enough time into the december challenge-largely due to the weather.  I mean to get out, but never actually get around to it.

I still need to finish moving.  There are 2 pieces of furniture at my old place that I need to move out.  The family has asked about it-they supposedly want to renovate the room, etc, but I seriously doubt that they are anywhere near being ready for it.  I think they are using the two bookcases is an excuse.  Plus it was filled with Christmas boxes and (having lived with them for 3 years) the chance that they have gotten them packed up and into the attic is miniscule.

Oh well, I did say that I would be out a month ago - and I was, short of these two narrow pieces of furniture that are stacked in a corner.).  On the other hand, there has been no hint of them following through on Mary's insistent offer of assistance in my move.

OK, enough grumbling-I just needed to get it out of my system.

I think that it will take two car trips to get the shelves-the outback is one inch too short to fit them both in.    Plus one of them is a unit that is very, very well mounted to the wall.  It will be awkward to take down-even with assistance.

oops-I'm whining again.

I am going to keep working on my to-do list so that I can prioritize.

I am kind of torn about avatars-I really like my current av, but a little miss av would be awesome.

Maybe I will just have to switch back and forth every day or two.

I do love my job. Editing is really fun, especially when there's more writing involved and the subject is cycling or exercise science.

But there are parts of it, like any job, like this task, which is really, really un-fun.

cool-I like editing too(most of the time), but I would need to brush up my grammar if I was going to get a job in editing-I am super perfectionistic and would be paranoid that I was adding too many commas, semi-colons, etc.  I generally use them based on where I pause(when speaking) and how long the pause is.  I am pretty sure that I go overboard occasionally.

EEEK
My mom looked at my new av while I was taking care of some stuff and she super zoomed my screen!  Now I can only see what would normally be 3 inches of the page.  I guess I need to figure out how to undo this....
