Having said that I have positive news... I took GB to the doctor this morning and they have given him some more pills... but this is due to the fact that some of his current compliants are due to side effects from the pain killers...

This means that by the time I get to see him this afternoon he should be feeling a lot better. They have also changed the pain medication which takes him off the nasty stuff and means he should be ok to drive himself to the specialist tomorrow - hoorah!

I dont feel so tightly wound today... hell tomorrow I might even squeeze in a workout... you never know!

Jen,

Do you remember when packet pick up or the mandatory race meeting are?  I accidentally deleted that email when I was dumping the gazillion emails out of my box and am truthfully too lazy to go look on   Richmond website.

Packet pickup is from 1 - 5 at 3Sports on Ridge.  The pre-race meeting is at 2 at the 3rd Presbyterian church across the street.

I think its harder because everytme you go home you realise some of the things you are moissing while away...

Ive had that since Ive been back from NZ... I keep wondering whether I would be happier back there with friends and family... its easier to miss something when you go back and see it again for yourself!

very true - and you were back for quite a while

I think for me it's the back and forth - I can't quite settle in to either part of my life

ok - so, I'm feeling a little dumb

but for the July challenge do I set a total goal or does it need to be in stages like the TdF?

I could and should read the whole thing - but I figure, I'm talking to the expert.........

nah thats what Im here for - you set two goals:

Goal 1: number of stages (a stage doesnt count if its less than 15 minutes)

Goal 2: Total distance or time
