Books: "The Competitive Runner's Handbook" by Bob Glover
"The Lore of Running" by Dr. Tim Noakes (LOTS of technical/scientific stuff, and a big section on injuries, prevention, and recovery from).

Websites:
Form Drills - Form Drill Exercises for Runners - Runningplanet.com
Arthur Lydiard's
Jim2's Running Page
Running Training and Physiology
RunningAHEAD

Personal faves.  The runningAHEAD website is sort of like BT for runners.  And it has some fantastic people on there, everyone from people who just started running, to former collegiate runners, to guys running 2:3x marathons and faster.  Great resource, I hang out there alot.

Hit and run post:

I managed to get in a short ride.  Now I have to go home and see what kind of chores my wife has for me this weekend.

Why the hell do I feel the need to go out drinking tonight? Just because it's Friday??? I should stay home and get some sleep after cycling and lifting! Yet I'm already trying to plan my night out! I'm not 18 or even 22, so WHY do I do this to myself???

Yeah, I hear that Angel Cake is a real b!tch at times.  Between her and Coco Calypso, and that annoying horse that never shuts up, I'd drink often, too.

Just got off the phone with my wife....

So, we've determined that for $290k, we'd need about $40k at closing.  The realtor suggests looking at houses under $300 that have been around for a little longer.

This bothers my wife, because it means finding a house that has stuff wrong with it, otherwise it would've sold by now.

Personally, I have no problems compromising on some things.  I kind of enjoy the idea of fixing things, to some greater or lesser extent.  My wife, however does not completely agree with this.  She wants what she wants, at her price.  She enjoys the search more than the end goal.  I can tell that this is going to be a long and stressful process, again.

Don't mind me, I'm going out of my skull here at this point.

Ah, you get to negotiate with your wife before you even get a chance to negotiate with sellers.

Have fun.

I'm used to the Friday summary.  I don't want to have to think about it myself.  That would take brain power I just don't have right now.

You need to quit making all those late night spa trips.

Oh like that would help.
