can't seem to find the answer on the Interweb...

 

(I ask b/c I just returned $21.50 worth of cans here in New York and I don't drink soda from a can - 1075 cans each inserted in this stoopid little machine that accepts the cans half the time)

I hear you can get 10 cents per can if you deposit in Michigan.
