So...did it work? There's nothing in your log. I'd hate to thing all that was for naught...

OK, one more try.  No one has taken this approach:

Don't worry your pretty little head about swimming dear, you probably can't swim very well any how.

Oh, if I could just have you live the swim portion of my last triathlon when I hadn't done a good swim workout for 4 weeks. I suffered! My shoulders were weak, I was out of breath, I just wanted it to end. I was nauseous and dizzy getting out of the water and that stuck with me for half my bike ride.

Get in the frikken pool or you WILL suffer, and not in a good way.

Ok, ok!

I went to the pool after work. Got there just as everyone had gotten out of the pool due to lightening. Pool closed. Brought my gear with me again today.

Thanks for all your butt-kicking kind words!

Here is a picture of the building I work in and the pool which lies not 50 yards from my window... I have NO excuse!

The sport of triathlon makes athletes juggle
Three very difficult sports, which can be trouble
but Renee thinks it's cool
to completely ignore the pool
making her next race a ridiculous struggle
