I've been thinking about this (merely thinking -- have not sat down at the 'puter to research it ) and wondering what ingredient (s ) one would use. When I tried a drink with protein a couple of years ago during marathon training I liked the results on longer runs (i.e. those over 15 miles; I think I tried a sample of Perpetum <sp?>  and subsequently have some protein in my Infinit blend I currently use. But I'm not sure about "tasteless" protein sources -- seems the whey powders are usually vanilla or chocolate, no? Thanks for the pointer to your coach's blog, Kathy. Good reads! |
