HELP I was planning on doing this as my first tri. Does anyone else know of anything on the island in the spring? This race from what I could tell is now in Sept.

Wasn't this end of July this year? They just switched it with the Vancouver Int'l Half which was mid-september this past year.

Oh ok so maybe there still is a Spring Sprint. I emailed a contact I found and hopefully there will still be a sprint in the spring

Just an FYI: There are now two races in Sooke.

The Sooke Spring Sprint (held by an independent race director) is usually mid-late April. It is a pool swim.

The Sooke International Half Iron & Sprint (held by Lifesport) is Sept 14. It is a lake swim.
