Subject: Kona 2017 Hi
I trained for triathlons in 1986 thru 1988. I actually competed in a few too. It was a BLAST. Since then I have aged and gained 85 lbs.
Well I have it in my soul that I am going to get back into tri's again. I totally hate running (I always have ) but I love swimming and biking. I have a plan set and I am going to substitute an elliptical machine for runs. I don't plan to do any Olympic distance triathlons this year, I just want to get to the point where I can run a 10k.
I will be 50 in 2017, that is the start of an age bracket in the Kona Hawaii Ironman. I want to compete in that race. That is more of a dream than a long term goal, but if I am going to train I might as well have a dream, right?
For now I will be hanging around the weight loss forms till I get comfy.
