Comments:

Rained on and off for most of the race, but never too heavy. Had some left shin pain up until about the end of mile 2. My cardio felt great, but I didn't want to push it on my leg. After it let up, I was able to pick up the pace a little bit.

What would you do differently?:

Run more.

Warm down:

Walked a little bit, called my wife to have her come unlock my car. Had a beer and some red beans and rice while I was waiting.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of running lately.

Event comments:

I can't complain too much about this race. I haven't put much time into my running lately, so I knew this was going to be slow. Overall, I felt great, and it was a good reminder how much fun races are and good motivation to step up my runnin' game...

As always, NOTC put on a fantastic race with a great after-party.
