My kiddos are studying lifecycles which got me thinking, "What's the typical lifecycle of a BTer"?
1. Find site during internet search for triathlon.
2. Observe the going-ons as a guest (1-5 days)
3. Sign up for free membership.
4. "Lurk" reading all the questions/answers in Triathlon Talk/ Gear Reviews/ Nutrition. (1-4 weeks)
5. Sign up for first triathlon.
6. Post introduction in the "Introduction" thread.
7. Continue "Lurking". (1-2 weeks)
8. Post first question. Normally, a. How to determine Max HR?, b. What strength exercises can be used to replace bicycling? or c. Can I replace cycling with spin classes?
9. Get lost in the activity resulting in the above questions.
10. Sign up for Bronze or above membership for training plans.
11. Use training plans, logging everything (10 - 20 weeks)
12. Find Cup of Joe.
13. Post count quadruples in the course of a day. Training is at a bare minimum.
14. Realize triathlon is coming up and concentrate on training again.
15. Begin to answer new BTer's questions.
Did I miss anything?
