Alright.  I've already gotten one inspire (Writebrained) saying they are in it.  What about the rest of you?  Anyone?  Bueller?

Seriously, if it is the first time doing this race, you are in for a treat.  It was my very first race last year and it was perfect for a beginner.  I'm going back this year to conquer the run (check out my race report for more info).

If you are returning, you know what it is like.  For those returning, if there are any, let's hope the wind is a little less this year, eh?

So, post away.

My grandfather was from Sullivan.  I have gone swimming in the civic center numerous times.  He died a few years ago.  It would be too sad for me to go back there.  I have rode my bike down there also, man is it flat.

You can always try to get on the waiting list.

Yes, it is flat, but WINDY!  Mercy, there was about a 10-15 mph headwind coming back in last year on the out and back.  Didn't help I was on a tank at the time (mountain bike).

But it really is such a well run event.

I'll be there. My daughter (rkinsey) is doing the kid tri that morning. Hope it warms up a little too. This will be my stepdad's (aa9my) first tri. Had a lot of fun there last year.

Bumping this one up to the top because it is only 12 days away.

So, according to weather.com, the Thursday before is rainy and 65-68.  So, I'm hoping the temp stays and the rain goes.  Keep your fingers crossed y'all.

Looking forward to meeting more BTer's.

I'm out.

Flu turned into bronchitis turned into strep throat.

Race Director agreed to give me a refund.  How nice is that!

Should be a great race.  I'll be at May Madness though......good luck all!

Hope you survived the winds today!  I road from Gays to Sullivan around the course and back this morning and the winds were brutal.  Sorry to whoever got halted by the funeral procession I was in this afternoon.

Yep.  It was a fun one.  Still haven't decided if last year was worse or this year.

This was my first Triathlon and I had a great time. Very organized and the coarse was great for a first timer. The wind on the bike was strong but thankfully the coarse was pretty flat. I will definitally do it again next year
