Swim
Comments: Expected to do better in the swim, was hoping for something closer to 30 minutes. Need more open water practice, having to raise my head to site, screws up what little swim form I have. Garmin has the course a little long at 1790 yards instead of the 1640 yards that it should have been. Transition 1
Comments: Man looks like a pitched a tent and camped out in T1. The run from the water to the bike racks was kind of long, plus the issue of deciding on what to wear and what not to wear on the bike, had to put on gloves, long sleeve shirt, Garmin, socks, etc. Bike
Comments: The wind was a big factor for me, the first 10 miles was into the wind, and I suck riding in the wind, need alot more time in the saddle. Miles 11 thru 20 was much nicer, with the wind some of the way and more of a cross wind at other times, the last 7 miles was a bit hilly. Did a good job of keeping HR down 153 avg with a max of 167. Transition 2
Comments: Had to use the restroom during T2 otherwise the time would have been under 2 minutes. Run
Comments: Started out strong, first mile felt good at 7:20 pace, then made left turn in to the wind, my back tightened up on me running into the wind and took a while loosen up. Ended up with 8 minute pace for the run, which is decent since I have had limited run training the past month with a foot issue. Post race

Got up at 5:00am, ate oatmeal and finished backing for the race, had to bring more stuff than usual this time because of the possible need for warm clothing for the bike. Drove to race site.
