Subject: RE: Jamis Trilogy? I am Debs' husband Rick, I sold Jamis for about two years and love the bikes. (don't work in the bike business right now, that's why I don't sell them currently ) Would easily put them up against any of the more well known brands. You generally get more bang for the buck with Jamis, especially with the tri bikes, they are trying to prove themselves in the market. I am riding the 2008 Xenith T1, the full carbon model and love, love, love it. Very stiff and responsive and one of the most aero bikes on the market. Regarding the Trilogy, yes, very good bike for the money. Geometry, spec, aerodynamics, all there. Also a great looking bike, I have seen it in person. I would say go for it unless your budget allows you to go for the Xenith T1, goes for around $3k, alot more bike for the extra $1k, full carbon frame, hidden brakes, more aero, blah, blah, blah. If ya have anymore questions regarding bikes don't hesitate to ask, it's my thing! |
