small amount of stretching.
Swim
  • 05m 2s
  • 300 yards
  • 01m 41s / 100 yards
Comments:

I felt outstanding in the pool. Very strong and powerful. I was having issues with flip turns so just stopped them. I caught the guy in front of me and tried passing serveral times but ran into other swimmers. He finally let me pass with 100 yards left.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing great swim.
Transition 1
  • 01m 59s
Comments:

From the pool to T1 and out was pretty long. Had to add some clothes due to weather.
What would you do differently?:

Maybe try no socks.
Bike
  • 53m 4s
  • 15.3 miles
  • 17.30 mile/hr
Comments:

I had a tough time on the bike portion. I couldn't catch my breath to push it like normal. I really slowed down on the corners and downhills due to weather. Hill portion I was passing people, but the flat sections I would get caught. Need to work on flat high speed. Oh yeah... About mile 12 I was trying to put my water bottle up and dropped it. My hands were a little numb so I couldn't exactly tell if it was in.
What would you do differently?:

Not real sure. I need more bike time.
Transition 2
  • 00m 56s
Comments:

T2 I was in and out fast.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing
Run
  • 22m 43s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 07m 18s  min/mile
Comments:

I started off pretty slow. Legs were tight it took me about 1.5 miles to get my running legs back. Once I got them I ran as fast as possible. It's an amazing difference when they come back. Also I turned my number around for the run and lost a button off the race belt. Now I need to buy a new one... booooooooooooo
What would you do differently?:

Force myself to speed up earlier.
Post race
Warm down:

Got out of the cold rain to warm up.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Shin issues kept me from running alot and I need to get more bike time in. My biking by far is my worst thing right now.
