Comments: Trifecta runners started 10 minutes before the fun run milers, wish they had also done this with the 5k. Started too fast thinking I could go all out and quickly realized I couldn't, slowed to my regular race pace and tried to push as much as I could at the end, legs were pretty shot What would you do differently?: keep a quicker but steadier pace til the final push Post race
Warm down: drank some water, changed clothes at the park went to mustard seed for a well earned lunch, stopped in hot springs on our way back to kalispell and soaked in the mineral water. Awesome! What limited your ability to perform faster: inexperience with the mile distance, running a 10k and 5k first :) Last updated: 2008-04-27 12:00 AM

Ran the 10k then the 5k had a couple cups of water aand got to the start line. Stretched my legs out a bit.
