Swim
Comments: Pool was a bit hectic, I'm glad that I started in the top 5 because from what I've been reading, the people in the middle of the pack had to wait at a bunch of walls waiting for people in front. What would you do differently?: Nothing, swim was solid. Transition 1
Comments: Went smoothly, it was damp out so my socks were a pain to get on. Put my shoes on before I headed out because the timing pad was right next to my rack. Bike
Comments: Over ride was good except for in the beginning I missed a turn. I was the 2nd rider out and I guess the volunteers weren't ready for us and I blew right past my turn. I heard someone yelling as I went past and turned around, lost about 30 seconds and the guy I was chasing. What would you do differently?: Look at my route closer before the race, I should have known where that turn was. Transition 2
Comments: Little bit slow, I was confused and couldn't figure out how to put my race belt on. Duh. What would you do differently?: Stop and think about what I'm doing and not spend 30 seconds putting on my race belt. Run
Comments: My run is my weakest link, I've known that, but still put together a good effort. Drizzling rain kept me cool. I felt solid going into the final half mile of the run and was able to sprint through the final 200 yards. What would you do differently?: Push myself a little harder earlier in the run. I didn't know how my legs were going to feel but they were holding up. Post race

Woke up at 4:15, had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, filled up my water bottle with HEED, and I was on my way.
I've never done a snake swim before, so I had to practice going under the lane lines a few times. Took a little getting used to, but it worked out.
