Subject: Belle River (Windsor area) tri May 31
I just noticed a pamplet for the Belle River triathlon this morning in the local Tim Horton's. I have not heard of this race before, so I assume that it is new for this year. Does anyone know anything about the course and the organizers? It looks like it is run by the same people that run the Windsor race. I usually do the Milton race that weekend, but this would be much closer for me.

All I know about it is that I am in.  I am doing a bike/run brick on Friday that will tell me if I am doing the try-a-tri or the full tri (more likely).

I think i am going to make this my 1st tri. I may be there with a mountain bike and no wetsuit, but i should be there. I am going to the running factory this weekend and will ask about the bike and run course. If anyone is interested i would like to trial the course before the race. It may settle some of my nerves.

Your first Tri?  That's awesome!  This will be my second, but I have a bunch of sprints scheduled for this year.  I know I need to get out in the water to test out a new wetsuit, so I might want to go up there next weekend.

I'm out. I tweaked a calf last week and its still not ready. Tried last night and tightened up again. Bummer.

It was a good race.  I filed a race report.  Sorry I did not get to touch base with anyone there.

My next tri will be the Loaring.  I'll be doing most of the W.R.A.C.E. events if anyone wants to come out.
