WTB: Aero rear wheel- 50, 60, 80, Disk 700cc clincher

I almost bought one-the only thing is, I'd have to buy another wheel anyways, becuase I couldn't keep taking it off and putting it on my trainers- and they're the only wheels I have.  So, get a decent wheel for for $150, add a $60 plastic cover....and you might as well get a "cheap" aero wheel.

Trust me, I have been obsessing and thinking about this a lot- $200 dollars is A LOT of money for me- considering I only make about 40 bucks a week with work study.

Why not?  That's exactly what I do.  If money is really that tight for you, 5-10 minutes to remove/put on the cover seems like a bargain.

It's true!  And after the point was brought up, I have thought about it a lot and am strongly considering just buying the cover and spending the extra $ on a new rear derailleur since mine has over 10K on it.

Do you think it won't destroy the covers/they'll be effective after taking them on and off 4-5 times a year minimum?

the screws are pretty susceptible to stripping, so you might want to ask for some more of the plastic screws when and if you do order one.

I love mine, but I have a nice set of 85 mm wheels now and I just cut my cover down to fit my 85 mm rear wheel.

There's nothing to destroy (except, as noted, you could strip some of the plastic screws eventually--but these can be easily/cheaply replaced).  The covers should last YEARS as long as you take resonable care with them.  You could take them on & off daily without harm if you wanted to do so.
