Does anyone know a good route to get from Minneapolis to St Cloud?

I don't mind going slightly out of the way to ride on nice wide shouldered/low traffic roads.

Thanks!

Where in Minneapolis are you coming from (suburb?)  If you can get to the NW metro (Champlin/Dayton/Otsego/Elk River) you can follow River Road (?) all the way into St. Cloud...I think.

Yes, but ONLY becasue I work in Richfield...60 miles one way, every day!!  I have even planned a route (apprx. 75 miles) that will take me from Princeton to Richfield so that I can bike to work at least once this summer...just have to wait for later in the season so my body can handle a 150 mile day!!

If you can get up to Anoka, technically you could ride Hwy 10 all the way up. It is rated as Freeway south of Anoka. If you are coming from downtown, you could take East river road up to Anoka, and then ride the shoulder to St. Cloud.

Otherwise you can check the DOT's website for more possible routes.
