Comments: I need to get this sh!* figured out, nuf said!! What would you do differently?: Do some warm up laps before the race starts. Transition 1
Comments: All went as planned, actually thought I was faster than this. What would you do differently?: Nothing Bike
Comments: Flew past everyone like they were out for a sunday ride!! Course had steeper hills than I expected. Good thing I've been doing hill work! What would you do differently?: Ride a triathlon bike! Transition 2
Comments: I'll get better at this as I progress in the sport. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Run
Comments: Feel like I could have run faster. Ps. This was my fasted recorded 5k!! What would you do differently?: Run faster Post race
Warm down: Walked around, ate some strawberry shortcake, and drank some water. What limited your ability to perform faster: My pathetic swimming technique!! Event comments: To be fair this was my first triathlon so I have nothing to compare it to. Last updated: 2008-05-10 12:00 AM

Woke up early, took a shower, ate breakfast (banana w/ peanut butter and oatmeal), loaded the car, and drove an hour and a half to the race.
Not really much of a warm up, more like a "calm me down". I was not looking forward to the swim. I stretched on the pool deck and just stayed warm.
