Great warm up race for your OLY.  It is nice to be the draftee than the drafter!  It means you are a decent swimmer, right.  I take it as a compliment.  You are ready for a nice OLY next week.  Good luck.

 Disregard the follow if you already know the trick to getting a dropped chain back on without dismounting.  If the chain drops to the inside (most of the time), just shift to your big ring and pedal gently.  The bike will do the work of putting it back on.  It works all the time (unless the chain is really jammed).

Seriously good race. I wanted to be there, but took the wife for her first at Lake Lanier. I wish I could complain about my 7:40 mile

When you say "dropped my chain... never recovered" do you mean mentally or physically couldn't get your HR back into zone? I have gone through both and was just curious which one you were battling out there.
