At least you had a crack! The swim would have been horrible...I felt mine (and I only did the brooks) took a lot out of me, well that and 'running' up the the hill to the transition area.

Had you done the 2 Gatorade races previous to this one?

first race? 1:35 isn't bad for a first go at it. don't be so hard on yourself. Have fun with it. If it were easy, everyone would be doing it!
