Subject: Newb from Texas!!

Just wanted to stop in and introduce myself finally. I am about 6'2" tall and right now weigh in around 220. I have never competed in a triathlon, but am training for a possible late summer/ fall tri. I really like this website and it has been really handy in helping me train. Anybody else on here from Amarillo?

You should think about doing the Hi-Fi triathlon in Galveston at the end of October...a bunch of us will be there.

Check out the Texas forums, you will find an active state community there.

Welcome! Kieth puts on a great race and I'm sure the Hi-Fi will live up to his high standards. Check out www.endorfunsports.com for more information and a list of all his races.

Welcome and good luck! Be careful, triathlons can become addictive.

Hey hey...welcome to the site!! I am from Dallas but am living out here in Los Angeles now. Just wanted to drop you a line and say good luck and stick with it. It's going to be a bit tough but so rewarding....and yes, it does get addictive so get ready to have all of your friends think that your mind is completely gone...hahaha.

cheers!!
