Do you use your tri shorts for a 1/2IM or full IM or change into bike shorts for that distance?

I wear the same shorts for all distances from sprint up to 1/2 IM. Desoto tri shorts.

I could not fathom wearing just tri shorts for my 1/2 IM, so I wore tri shorts and for the bike, I added bike shorts over top. Just remember to take them off for the run! It was quite comfortable and added only a few seconds to my transition

Race in them if you have trained in them.

I second the desoto tri short. Right now all my long rides and runs are done in them to get my butt ready. They are actually pretty comfortable.

I don't like the zoot too much for running though, I've found the stitching around the pad can cause a bit of chaffing.

I am also a DeSoto tri short fan.  I wore them for a few races that are approx. 3/4 IM distance with no problem in comfort.
