Comments:

Tough at first, due to the amount of people, my buddy got kicked in the head, but did well. Waters were calm with excellent vis.
No wet suit recquired. I actually swam better without it.
What would you do differently?:

Go all out.

Bike
  • 35m 17s

  • 8.50 mile/hr
Comments:

Good have gone all out, but being my first race here I was mcuh slower than anticpated as it was tough to see. I also did not want to take a digger. I saw many unexperienced riders fall over especially in the sandy areas.
What would you do differently?:

Know the trail and course, it was loopy and winding, but very well marked.
Do the road bike portion instead of the mtb portion. I Know now I that I really don't care for off road biking.
