At my last tri, which also happened to be my first Olympic, I won a tri bike.  The LBS (loff them!) donated a Trek Equinox 7 for a raffle at the end of the race.  Anyway, long story short, I won it!  More details are in my race report.  I went in for a fitting and the "sample bike" that they had in the store was a perfect fit.  They raised the seat a hair and that was all the adjustment that was needed.  Kind of a Cinderella and glass slipper story.  I've ridden it twice now and it is so fast!  What a difference from my old bike.  Can't wait for my next race!

Sorry that the pics don't show enough of the bike.  My MIL isn't the best bike photographer.

Post us some pictures of you riding it (on the trainer if you have one).  They sound like a great and generous business, but I'm worried they didn't give you much attention in your fit because they weren't making any money.  Some here might be able to look at your various joint angles, etc and let you know if it looks good.

Great.  Another Minnesotan with faster bike splits than me.  Congratulations on the new FREE toy.

Very cool! Though I have to say, I was distracted by the hot gray ride...in your avatar! At my first tri, someone was wearing a Rolex shirt, and I said, "Ah, the other triathlon!"

Cool!  A few years back a $10 raffle ticket won me a Trek OCLV TT bike as well.  I'm still not fast enough to do it justice, but it is fun to at least look fast when setting up in transition. ;-p  Enjoy it!

I'm still waiting to win the Felt from Triathlete Mag.  I wish they would just hurry up and call me already.

Sorry Jessica that Felt happens to be my bicycle! I even wrote down what size I would be needing and the best times to get a hold of me during the day on my entry form when I sent it in. LOL!
