ECTC 07/15

I assume it is at Cedar Beach...to the best of my knowledge I am in, unless my wife or one of my 2 children change my mind, will we be following by a bike as well?

I am there and hope to be bringing my wife. She will be performing the short race at the loaring. She will soon be addicted like us. Because of the double, I am thinking about not wearing a wetsuit. What is everyone doing?

It looks like either Lakeshore Beach in Belle River or Hillman Beach in Leamington. I am voting for Lakeshore because it is closer for me and I am selfish like that.

We might be out of town, but if not, I'll be there.  Either way, I'll see you all at the the Loaring Tri.

Just post which beach to meet at, I am not wearing my wetsuit for the double or even for the first swim because of the short nature of the course. I do not think it will be advantageous.

I thought maybe just the first swim, I am ok with Belle River. Lets check the beach closures closer to the date.

Unfortunately they only check and post hte ecoli once a week and they will not check it again before next Wens with the results posted on Friday.

I can be at Belle River at 7:00pm. I would be in for a short ride after.

July 9th results - Swimming is not recommended at Cedar Beach, Cedar Island Beach, Colchester Beach, Holiday Beach, Point Pelee NW Beach, Sandpoint Beach, and Seacliff Beach.

Looks like Belle River is OK! So, lets say 7pm. I wonder if we should try it without a wetsuit????? I will only be available for the swim, but everyone else bring your bikes for a short ride!

I agree tabbs, i am going to try without a wetsuit. See you tomorrow.

WE just decided to go to Sarnia for a couple of days so I am going to be away now, I will swim up there if anyone is interested lol. I look forward to meeting everyone at loaring however.
