Comments:

I ran this sans MP3 player. It was a beautiful day and I was excited to be out and running. I probably shouldn't because of my achilles. The first 1/2 mile or so hurt, but not bad...after that it felt great!

Event comments:

There is no way to express what I am feeling. Most people know that I am not a christian. I believe that when we die, the persons being / soul / essence / energy becomes part of the world around it...becomes part of all of us. So in my heart I know Christine is with me, part of her will guide me, forever. But I am sad, I think I am sad because I want to be in Tampa with my friends. I want to be there to support them and help them, and across the country I feel useless and frustrated. I know that they really don't need me there...but in purpose we often find our path. Ok...I am babbling again. This run was exactly what I needed right now...It felt great and let me release a lot of built up sadness and negativity! Christine was always possitive in her inspires to me...so I guess that is the part of her I am feeling right now.

It sounds like this was a very special run for you. Glad you were able to run it, and I hope that your achilles is ok tomorrow.

and

It's good to do both.  Sad she had to pass to help, but so happy that her last days days on earth brought so many together and helped so many out.  I never knew of her until this tragedy, but in her last days and passing she has touched me and helped me focus on what's important.  Apparently, it's just what she did throughout her life.  It makes me smile to know that there are people like her on this earth, no matter how long they are here.

Ok, now I'm babbling.  Your report was touching, and I thank you for it.  The world seems so connected when one's catharsis bleeds into the lives of others.  Seeing her friends mourn her death and rejoice in her life has been very special.

Well done on the run, and for articulating so many things that have been going through my head this week that I couldn't find the right words for.
